What BIMBLY is
BIMBLY is a trust-oriented platform that brings together public information about jobs, local businesses, phone numbers, emails, websites and user-submitted reports. The service helps people make more informed decisions by showing public trust signals, reputation data and moderated community feedback.
Information we collect
We may collect information that users submit directly, such as names, business details, vacancy details, contact information, reviews, complaints, reports, ratings, images and correction requests. We also process basic service-use information, such as language preference, cookie choices, page activity and anti-spam signals needed to protect the platform.
Why we use information
We use information to operate BIMBLY, publish and organize public profiles, show reviews and ratings, detect spam or abuse, moderate submitted content, answer support requests, improve search quality and keep the platform reliable for users.
Reviews, complaints, ratings and public profiles
Reviews, complaints, ratings, reports and profile details may be shown publicly when they help users understand trust, reputation or safety signals. We ask users to submit accurate information and avoid unnecessary personal details. Public content may be edited, hidden or removed when it appears inaccurate, abusive, outdated or legally problematic.
Cookies
BIMBLY uses cookies and similar browser storage to remember language and interface preferences, keep the cookie notice from repeating, protect forms from spam, support basic analytics and improve service reliability. We do not claim that BIMBLY is tracking-free: when enabled, we may use analytics, advertising (such as Google), payment (such as Stripe) and map/geocoding providers, and these are disclosed here. You can limit cookies in your browser settings, but some preferences may not be remembered.
Visitor protection and anti-spam signals
To reduce spam, fake reviews, repeated complaints and automated abuse, BIMBLY may use a privacy-conscious visitor identifier and other protective signals. These signals help us recognize suspicious repeated activity without publishing technical details or exposing them in public profiles.
Moderation
Submitted content may be reviewed before or after publication. Moderation can include checking whether a report is relevant, whether a review appears abusive, whether a profile contains harmful data, and whether a removal or correction request should be accepted.
Addresses, coordinates and the map
BIMBLY Map shows public points such as businesses, services, jobs, resumes and other entities that have a city, address or coordinates. We may store the original text address, city, region, country, postal code, latitude, longitude and the source and status of geocoding. Coordinates can be approximate or city-level. We avoid publishing the exact home address of a private individual without a proper legal basis. If an address or map point is wrong, you can ask us to correct it or hide the exact coordinate while we review.
Correction and removal requests
If information about you or your organization is inaccurate, outdated, excessive or published without a proper reason, you can request correction, restriction or removal. We may ask for enough context to understand the request and may keep limited records needed to handle abuse, disputes or legal obligations.
Your rights by region
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. BIMBLY does not sell personal data. We consider EU/EEA/UK (GDPR), California (CCPA/CPRA), China (PIPL) and GCC (UAE, Saudi, Qatar) expectations, but we do not claim certified compliance in every country. As an international service, your data may be processed outside your own country. To exercise a right, contact [email protected].
